In order to guarantee citizens’ safe travel, more planes have been planned for the upcoming days, Indian Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu revealed on social media. Additionally, he instructed airlines to keep their fares affordable throughout the crisis.

Nearly 190 stranded passengers were previously provided with temporary housing and food by the Indian Embassy in Nepal, guaranteeing their safety till business operations resumed. Before returning home on the first round of relief flights, many of them were billeted at nearby hotels.
