Modi said that without such changes, india cannot secure its rightful position in today’s global scenario. Referring to his independence day speech at the red fort, he reminded that next generation reform are essential to make india more self-reliant. Where prime minister modi also recalled his promise that before the festival of diwali and Chhath puja people would experience a double celebrations of happiness.

As according to him, this reform marks turning poin for the nation’s future growth. He announced that the goods and services tax GST has now become simpler and easier for the people. He explained that GST rates will come into effect from september 22, which falls on monday, the very first day of navratri. Highlighting the reform, he said that in the 21st of centuary, as india moves forward gst has also been upgraded with the next generation reforms. Calling it GST-2 the prime Minister narendra modi said this step will act as a double dose of support and growth for our country. this will also help to strengthen the economy and move towards self-reliance.
During the program, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the reforms in the Goods and services tax GST have added Five jewels to India’s growing economy. In his speech, he also mentioned the key benefits. First, the tax system has become much simpler, making it easier for the people and business to follow. Secondly, the quality of the life of Indian citizens will improve. As a result of smoother taxation and fairer prices. third, consumption and overall economic growth will get a new booster, supporting India’s development journey. Fourth, the ease of doing the business will also increase, encouraging more investments and creating the scope of new job oppotunities for the youth.
