According to the recent reports, On 13 august Congress MP and leader of opposition in the lok sabha, rahul gandhi told a pune court that his life is in danger. he Explained that this threat comes due t the recent political conflicts and the family connections of the complaints, satyaku savarkar. citing these reasons, rahul gandhi requested the court to provide him with the preventive protection to ensure his safety. he also appealed before the MP-MLA court, saying that during the ongoing defamation case against him, there are serious concerns about his security and the fairness of the proceedings gandhi urged the court to take the notes of these issues and ensure that the trial is conducted in a just and secure manner. In the MP-MLA court, rahul gandhi said that his life is in danger because the complainant, satyaki savarkar has identified himself as a descendant of nathuram godse. Rahul gandhi added that the complainant’s family background is linked with the people who follow a violent ideology, which makes him fear both he physical harm and the possibility of being trapped in false cases. In the pune court he asked for the protection as he feels the danger.
For this reason, he requested the court to grant him protection so that his lie remains safe and the trials can be conducted fairly. the congress leader also pointed out that, in recent days his statements have angered BJP Leaders, and he has faced threats from them. therefore, he urged the court to take his concerns seriously.
Congress Leader Clarifying the Stand of the Rahul Gandhi
A congress leader shared milind pawar’s press release on her social media handle, clarifying Rahul gandhi’s stand on the matter. she wrote that rahul gandhi’s lawyer had submitted a written statemnet in court without first consulting him or taking his permission. In that Statement, the lawyer mentioned that rahul gandhi’s life was in danger. according to the congress leader, rahul gandhi strongly disagrees with this claim. she further added that rahul gandhi believes such a statement should not have been filed in court on his behalf without his approval.to correct the situation, the leader explained that rahul gandhi’s lawyer will withdraw the written statement from the court on the next day. this clarification was aimed at putting an end to the consfusion surrounding the issue and ensuring that rahul gandhi’s official position is accurately represented in the ongoing case.
