PM Fasal Bima Yojana: This is a government scheme in which farmers are given a claim in case of crop loss due to bad weather, storm, hurricane or rain or flood. To get insurance in this scheme, farmers have to pay a certain percentage of premium while the rest of the premium is paid by the government.
The government has launched PM Fasal Bima Yojana keeping in mind the interests of the farmers so that the loss caused by natural disaster can be dealt with and their crop can be compensated. It has been 9 years since this scheme was started, in which more than 36 crore farmers have benefited from it.
If you are also taking advantage of PM Fasal Bima Yojana and your premium is also being deducted from your account every month, even then it is not necessary that you will be given the benefit of this scheme in case of loss of your crop, it is necessary to fulfill some rules to give the benefit of this scheme, for this you have to register and the last date to register in it is 31 July 2025, that is, even if you are paying its premium, you have some important tasks which should be completed before 31 July.
Complete all these tasks by 31st July
The farmers who have applied in PM Fasal Bima Yojana are given the benefit of insurance and financial help in case of crop loss due to natural disaster. Under this scheme, farmer brothers can avail this insurance by paying only two percent premium. But farmer brothers should complete these important tasks before 31st July 2025, the farmers who have taken crop insurance and from whose bank account their premium is deducted, should go to that branch and get their Aadhaar verification completed and updated.
In PM Fasal Bima Yojana ,If you have not updated your Aadhaar card, then you may face problems in getting compensation for crop loss, that is, to avail the benefits of this scheme, it is very important to have Aadhaar e KYC, and if you have not registered for this scheme, then you must get your registration done in it before 31st July.
How can one get the insurance?
To register under PM Fasal Bima Yojana, farmers can get the insurance done through all co-operative societies of the district, common service established in the gram panchayat and all banks of the district through crop insurance app crop insurance, or they can also register for crop insurance through www.pmfbi.gov.in or AIC representative and fertilizer cash sale center.
