Reports of the ambassy says, that the attack was carried out by russia, and the warehouse was completely destroyed. the ukrainian embassy has also alleged that russia is deliberatley targeting indian businesses in ukraine. the incident has raised the concern over the safety of foreign investments and companies operating in the war-hit region. no casualties have been reported so far, but the damage to the property is said to be very significant. ukraine has strongly condemned the attack and urged the international community to take note of russia’s actions against foreign owned businesses. British ambassador to ukraine, Martin Harris stated that a major pharmaceutical warehouse in kyiv was destroyed during recent russian attacks. however, he calimed the attack was not by missiles but by the russian drones.
In a post on X, harris wrote “This morning, a russian drone completely destroyed a major medial warehouse in kyiv, buring vital medicines meant for the elderly and children russia’s campaign of terror against ukrainian civilians countinues. he also shared a photo showing smoke rising from a warehouse like structure with brigades present at the scene. Recently, the defence ministry of russia accused ukraine of launching the five attacks on its energy infrastructure, calling it a voilation of u.s. brokered restrictions. Both the nations had agreed to stop targeting each other’s energy facilities, nut accusations of ciolations have continued. india has urges bot of the sides to end this violence and restore the peace but has not openly taken the sides.
