According to the details, The Immigration and foreign Bill 2025 focuses on regulating passports, visas, registrations and foreign nationals entering or leaving india. Once this bill becomes law, four old immigration-related laws will be repeated. this step aims to strengthen border security and help the country tackle illegal immigration more effectively. after the bill is enacted, the government will eliminate four outdates laws: the foreigners act 1946, the passport act 1920 the registration of foreigners act 1939 and the immigration act 2000.
