PM-Uday Scheme: This is a central government scheme in which people living in Delhi get the benefit. Under this scheme, people living in unauthorized colonies of Delhi get the ownership rights of their property. Till now, the benefit of this scheme has been given to many people. In this scheme, now people living in unauthorized colonies will also be given the ownership rights and they will be able to buy and sell it and will also be able to take a loan on their house.
What is PM-Uday Scheme?
Under this scheme, people living in illegal colonies of Delhi are given ownership rights of their houses, for which applicants can register on the DDA website and avail this facility.
This scheme was started by the Central Government on 29 October 2019, in which Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has appointed PM Uday Mitras to give ownership rights of their property to people living in 1731 unauthorized colonies of Delhi. These Uday Mitras will go door-to-door and assist in the entire process from submitting the application form to getting the conveyance deed.
The aim of the scheme
The aim of PM-Uday Scheme is to give ownership rights to the people living in unauthorized colonies, in which about 40 lakh people are to be given ownership rights of their houses by DDA. Let us tell you that till now more than 1.27 lakh applications have been received in this scheme and more than 29000 people have received the conveyance deed and there are still many people who have not received the conveyance deed, they also have to be given their ownership rights.
Eligibility of PM-Uday Scheme
The benefit of this scheme will be given to the people living in Delhi who have the sale deed, gift deed or power of attorney, agreement to sell, possession letter of the concerned property, if any such information is found with the applicant, then they will be given the ownership rights of that property. People living in 1731 illegal colonies of Delhi will get the benefit of this.

- After completing the registration, apply online for ownership freehold rights.
