BJP’s vote share has increased significantly from 38.51% in 2020 and 32.3% in 2015. BJP won 48 out of 70 seats, but its allies JDU and LJP lost their respective seats.
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) won 22 out of 70 seats and secured 43.57% of the votes. This marks a 10% decline from the 53.57% vote share in 2020 and 54.5% in 2015. The results indicate a major shift in Delhi’s political landscape, with BJP making a strong comeback after nearly 27 years.
