PM Modi Holds Meeting with WAVES Summit Advisory Board, Top Celebrities and Business Leaders Join
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced the launch of the World Audio-Visual Entertainment Summit (WAVES) in December 2024. He had urged all leading figures and professionals from the creative industry to participate in this initiative.

On Friday, February 7, PM Modi held a meeting with the advisory board of the WAVES Summit, where he interacted with top professionals from India and around the world. Several renowned film stars, including Amitabh Bachchan, Diljit Dosanjh, Rajinikanth, Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Chiranjeevi, Anil Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher, and A.R. Rahman, joined the virtual meeting.Apart from film personalities, prominent business leaders such as Mukesh Ambani (Reliance Industries), Satya Nadella (Microsoft), Anand Mahindra (Mahindra & Mahindra), and several other top executives also participated in the discussion.

Taking to X, he posted a glimpse of the discussions and wrote:
“The advisory board meeting of WAVES, a global summit bringing together the world of entertainment, creativity, and culture, has just concluded. The board consists of top stars from various fields who have not only shown their support but also shared excellent ideas to further our efforts in making India a global entertainment hub.”
In December 2024, PM Modi had announced the World Audio-Visual Entertainment Summit (WAVES), calling it a significant step towards enhancing India’s global standing. He also encouraged young professionals from the creative industry to participate in the initiative.
Why Was the WAVES Summit Meeting Held?
The meeting focused on innovation, global leadership, India’s cultural and technological impact, and strategies to strengthen India’s position on the world stage. The WAVES Summit is known for bringing together thought leaders from different sectors. Chiranjeevi Promises Support to PM Modi’s WAVES Initiative
Megastar Chiranjeevi has been appointed as a member of the advisory board for the World Audio-Visual Entertainment Summit (WAVES). Expressing his gratitude, he thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for including him in this prestigious initiative. In his post, Chiranjeevi assured that he and other board members would work together to elevate India’s “soft power” and establish the country as a global hub for content creation. “We are committed to taking #WAVES to new heights and making India a leader in the entertainment and creative industries,” he said.
