Ladli Laxmi Yojana

Ladli Lakshmi Yojana is a scheme of Madhya Pradesh government in which financial assistance of ₹1,43,000 is given to daughters and when they turn 21, a lump sum amount of ₹1,00,000 is given. This amount is sent directly to the account of the girl child. The benefit of this scheme is given to all the girls born after 1 January 2006.

Chief Minister Ladli Laxmi Yojana is a scheme for girls which is being run by the Madhya Pradesh government, in which financial assistance is provided to girls for education and marriage, so that the daughters of economically weaker sections are given money from higher education to marriage.

In this scheme, financial assistance of ₹ 2000 is given to the girl child on her admission in the sixth class, ₹ 4000 on her admission in the 9th class, ₹ 6000 on her admission in the 11th class and ₹ 6000 on her admission in the 12th class. For graduation, an amount of ₹ 25000 is given in two installments and separate financial assistance is given at the time of marriage. In this, the girl child gets a benefit of Rs 1,43,000 and the tuition fees for pursuing higher education is also borne by the government.
