A road march is scheduled to take place across Bihar on Sunday, November 1st. This march will be led by data entry operators. Beltron has sent a letter to the Nalanda District Magistrate and Superintendent of Police (SP) regarding this. A major protest is underway in Bihar by data entry operators and contract workers employed by Beltron in various government departments and offices. Data entry operators across Bihar are scheduled to protest their pending demands, and the United Front on the Roads of Bihar has called for a road march across Bihar on November 1st, 2026. Through this program, employees will express their displeasure to the government regarding their demands and demand solutions to problems that have persisted for years.
It is also reported that programmers, stenographers, and IT personnel will also participate in this protest, along with data entry operators. The employees’ primary issue is service adjustment and the demand for state employee status, and they are planning to take to the streets to protest this.
Demand for State Employee Status Intensifies
Employees who have been serving in government offices through Beltron for a long time now clearly state that they are fulfilling their responsibilities in important departmental functions. They play a vital role in maintaining data related to government schemes, online applications, entering official documents, operating portals, and various administrative tasks. Despite this, the employees have many concerns about the stability of their service and their future. In light of this, the United Front has demanded that the state government take a concrete decision in the interest of the employees who have been working for years, so that their future is secure and initiatives are taken towards granting them state employee status. On a certain date, these employees will hold a road march to present their demands to the government.
All employees will take to the streets on November 1st
At the call of the United Front, road marches are scheduled to take place in various districts on November 1st. Preparations are already underway at the district level, with employees holding meetings and encouraging as many colleagues as possible to participate.
