New Delhi: There is good news for farmers associated with the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Before Diwali, these farmers will receive the 24th instalment of the scheme, a sum of ₹2,00,0 directly into their bank accounts. This instalment will be released on October 30, benefiting over 90 million (9 crore) farmers.
This date has been officially announced. The government has already transferred 23 instalments of ₹2,000 each. To receive this instalment, certain requirements must be met; farmers are advised to complete their e-KYC promptly to avoid any uncertainty.
Official Announcement of the 24th Instalment
The date for the release of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana instalment has been officially announced. This information has been shared on the scheme’s official website and its social media channels.
A post on the scheme’s official ‘X’ (formerly Twitter) handle advises farmers to note the date: the 24th instalment of the PM Kisan Yojana will be released on October 30, 2026. This initiative ensures continued financial support for farmers, helping to empower them. The government provides these funds to assist farmers with their economic progress and agricultural expenses.
₹2,000 to be Credited to Farmers’ Accounts
The central government will release the 24thinstalment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana on October 30. On this day, eligible farmers will receive ₹2,000 in their bank accounts. Since the transfer is taking place before Diwali, it will serve as a welcome gift for the festive season.
However, please note that if a farmer has not completed their e-.KYC, the payment may be withheld. If you are an eligible farmer and wish to verify whether you will receive the instalment, you can easily check your status.
How to check the status
You will need to visit the official website of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana at https://pmkisan.gov.in/.
Go to the ‘Farmer’ section and log in.
To do this, you will need to enter your registration number, after which an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
Then, you will need to enter the OTP.
How to complete e-KYC for the PM Kisan Yojana
First, download the PM-KISAN mobile app and the ‘Aadhaar Face RD’ app from the Google Play Store.
Next, open the app and log in using the mobile number registered with PM-KISAN.
Then, navigate to the ‘Beneficiary Status’ page.
If the e-KYC status shows ‘No’, click on ‘e-KYC’, enter your Aadhaar number, and provide consent to scan your face.
