Ahead of the October 10th protest against Gyanesh Kumar, the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) has received significant relief from the Supreme Court. This is a significant victory for the CJP. The court granted the CJP significant relief before October 10th, i.e., on October 9th, 2026. A major protest against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar is scheduled for the 10th, which the CJP had already announced. It is expected that a large number of people will participate in this protest. Just a day before the protest, the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) received significant relief from the Supreme Court. This is another significant victory for the CJP. The court has refused to reconsider its earlier decision to quash the FIR filed during the CJP’s protest. Furthermore, the CJP’s demand for complete freedom to deal with the protesters was also not accepted. This decision is being considered a major victory for the CJP. Let’s take a closer look at what happened in court.

What happened in the Supreme Court?

According to media reports, the Supreme Court heard the case, and during the hearing, the court flatly refused to agree to the request to reopen its earlier decision. The Supreme Court also clarified that the previously filed cases should be dismissed, considering the circumstances surrounding the students’ future. This decision is considered significant because it comes at a time when the “Cockroach Janata Party” is planning a major protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi on October 10th. This protest will be attended not only by CJP supporters but also by several prominent opposition leaders. The protesters are demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and that he should answer for the irregularities in the case. The CJP is holding a major protest with these mangoes.

Protests against Gyanesh Kumar intensify

People are now taking to the streets against Gyanesh Kumar and demanding his removal. This issue is related to the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process of voter lists. Opposition parties and several social organizations have alleged that a large number of genuine voters were removed from the electoral rolls during the deletion process, affecting their voting rights and potentially impacting the upcoming elections. Gyanesh Kumar is being asked to account for this and is even demanding his resignation.

On the other hand, the Election Commission and the government maintain that the purpose of the voter list revision is to obtain records. Both parties are presenting their own arguments, leading to ongoing accusations and counter-accusations in this controversy, and preparations are underway for a demonstration at Jantar Mantar.

Major Protest Begins

The Cockroach Janata Party has launched a major protest. The CJP says it will continue until Gyanesh Kumar resigns. The main objective of this protest is to raise the issue of alleged irregularities in the voter list and demand accountability and the resignation of the Chief Election Commissioner.

In view of the expected crowds in Delhi, the administration has made elaborate security and traffic arrangements. The administration faces the challenge of maintaining law and order while also balancing the rights of peaceful protests. Consequently, several stations in Delhi have been closed and strict security measures have been put in place.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Court’s relief and decision have brought a significant victory and relief to the CJP. All eyes are now on tomorrow’s protest, where it remains to be seen how large the crowd will be and how the police will control it.
