According to the IMD, the system is expected to maintain its intensity as a depression for the next 12 hours before weakening into a low-pressure area. The Meteorological Department has issued heavy rain warnings for Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh. Alerts for heavy rainfall have also been issued for Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, and Sikkim. Haryana and Delhi may experience spells of light to heavy rain. The IMD has also warned of potential waterlogging and flooding in low-lying areas due to heavy rain and strong winds.

According to the Meteorological Department, an alert for cloudy skies has been issued for the capital, Delhi, on September 26. Light to moderate rainfall is expected in several areas, accompanied by the possibility of lightning strikes. The IMD has also issued an alert for strong winds blowing at speeds of 30 to 50 km/h. An alert for thunderstorms and rain has been issued for September 27, and rainfall is also likely in Delhi on September 28. Heavy Rainfall Likely in UP
The IMD has forecast heavy rainfall across several districts of Uttar Pradesh, including Lucknow, Kanpur, and Unnao. The Meteorological Department has once again issued an alert for torrential rain in the state, with a specific alert issued for significant rainfall on September 26.
The IMD anticipates extremely heavy rainfall in both Eastern and Western Uttar Pradesh today. This spell of rain is expected to continue in the state until September 30. Rainfall is likely in Western UP from September 27 to 29 and in Eastern UP from September 27 to 30.

The Meteorological Department has issued a heavy rain alert for Banda, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Fatehpur, Pratapgarh, Sant Kabir Nagar, and Maharajganj. According to the IMD, alerts for intense rainfall have also been issued for Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Raebareli, Amethi, Sultanpur, Ayodhya, Ambedkar Nagar, and Basti. Additionally, heavy rain is predicted for areas including Siddharthnagar, Gonda, Balrampur, Hardoi, Lucknow, Barabanki, Bijnor, Amroha, Moradabad, Sambhal, and Budaun.
