PM Modi urged BJP workers to focus on social reform.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a virtual interaction with participants in the “Seva Yatra” on Friday. He emphasized the need to prioritize social reform and positive change, and emphasized that work should not be limited to vote bank politics.

Two bike rides under the “Seva Yatra” began on September 17. One journey started from Vadnagar to Varanasi and the other from Varanasi to Vadnagar. These visits are being organised as part of the programmes related to the Prime Minister’s 76th birthday and completion of 25 years of his public life.
The groups participating in the yatra are passing through towns, districts and villages of many states. Its objective is said to be to connect with local people and increase grassroots engagement through service activities.
According to News on AIR, cleanliness drives and activities are also being carried out in schools, hospitals and other community places during the yatra. The journeys in both directions are scheduled to continue until October 7.
A message to the youth to closely understand villages and local communities
Prime Minister Modi told the Seva Yatris that visiting different regions and living among the people provides an opportunity to understand India’s diversity. According to him, observing the culture of villages, local traditions and the lives of people closely gives the experience of understanding the country.
He also described the experiences of the youth involved in the journey as important. He said that working among the people helps in understanding the spirit of service and social engagement.
