New Delhi: The assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, the country’s largest state, can’t take place without becoming a major topic of discussion. All political parties have already begun formulating their strategies for the 2027 UP assembly elections. These elections are set to be crucial for both the BJP and the SP. Western UP is likely to emerge as a focal point of the election once again, as both the BJP and the SP are keeping a close watch on the region.
BJP National General Secretary Nitin Navin is now set to deliver a significant political message there. He will be accompanied by CM Yogi Adityanath and UP State President Pankaj Chaudhary. Meanwhile, the SP is also focusing on strengthening its ‘PDA’ (Pichhda, Dalit, Alpsankhyak Backwards, Dalit, and Minority) support base through its leaders.
BJP working to align social equations in Western UP
Following the Samajwadi Party and the RLD, the BJP has intensified its efforts to balance social equations in Western UP. Nitin Navin will travel to Meerut via the Delhi-Meerut Expressway, accompanied by CM Yogi Adityanath and State President Pankaj Chaudhary.
The following day, Tuesday, Nitin Navin is scheduled to visit Saharanpur, where he will work to build political momentum. Over these two days, he aims to gauge the political pulse of the region’s constituencies and lay the groundwork for the party to secure a hat-trick of election victories.
How Nitin Navin plans to engage the youth
The UP elections will prove to be a major test for the BJP. On Monday, Nitin Navin will hold a ‘Yuva Samvad’ (youth dialogue) with 2,000 students at the Mangalya Auditorium of Subharti University in Meerut. This initiative is part of a plan to connect with Gen-Z voters. He will engage in a direct dialogue with the 2,000 students and answer their questions.
There will be no interference from BJP party workers or others during this interaction. Discussions will also cover topics such as AI, education, inflation, and unemployment. CM Yogi and Pankaj Chaudhary will share the stage with the National President at the event. Following his interaction with the youth, Nitin Navin will address the coordinators of 4,800 ‘Shakti Kendras’ (party organisational units) from the Western region.
On Monday evening, he will hold crucial meetings with office-bearers from the Western region at the Bravura Resort in Meerut. During this significant meeting, he will deliberate with the new regional team. Divisional presidents and Shakti Kendra coordinators will also participate. Nitin Navin, Yogi, and Pankaj Chaudhary will be present on the dais. Additionally, there is a possibility that state in-charge Vinod Tawde may also attend the event. The meeting is scheduled to last approximately two and a half hours.
