The Akali Dal, too, is no longer what it used to be. Both the BJP and the Akali Dal are attempting to join forces to regain their footing. Election Campaign to Launch Soon
Congress General Secretary Sachin Pilot stated that Punjab is a crucial state, particularly given its status as a border state. Elections are upcoming there. Pilot added that the party has entrusted him with this responsibility; he has met with all state leaders over the past two days, and the formal election campaign will launch soon.

The AAP government had secured a historic majority. However, the government focused solely on protecting its own party leadership while sidelining the people of the state. The issue of drugs is of paramount importance. Now, as the government’s term draws to a close, grand promises are being made.
What Pilot said regarding the local body elections
Speaking on the Rajasthan local body elections, Sachin Pilot stated that these polls are taking place solely because the High Court had reprimanded the government. The government had attempted to delay the elections by citing various excuses. Elections for Gram Panchayats and Pradhan-Pramukhs have not yet been announced.
Currently, elections are being held only for municipalities and municipal councils. It is hoped that people will cast their votes in these elections, especially given that the pace of urban development, which was previously underway,y has stalled.
