The central government has already transferred 23 instalments of ₹2,000 each; consequently, farmers are now anticipating the release of the 24th instalment.

It is expected that the government might transfer the instalment amount to accounts during the first week of October. This instalment benefited 94.4 million (9.44 crore) farmers, with the government transferring over ₹18,880 crore to their accounts. Approximately 21.8 million (2.18 crore) women also benefited from the 23rd instalment. Now, all farmers are looking forward to the next thth instalment.

When might the instalment benefit be received?

There is a customary practice of releasing benefits under the central government’s PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana at intervals of approximately four months. The previous (23rd) instalment was released in June 2026. Based on this interval, the funds for the next instalment are expected to arrive in October. An official date for the transfer has not yet been set; the final date will be determined only after an official government announcement.

Tasks farmers can complete promptly.

Farmers wishing to avail the benefits of the 24th instalment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana should attend to a few essential requirements. They should verify whether their e-KYC is complete and get it done if it is not. Additionally, they can ensure their Aadhaar card is linked to their bank account and complete the verification of their land or farm holdings. If you fail to complete these tasks, the instalment payment could get stalled, causing difficulties for farmers.

How much does the government provide annually?

For your information, under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, the Central Government provides ₹6,000 annually. The government transfers this amount in three instalments of ₹2,000 each. This payment is made directly via DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).

Farmers can easily complete e-KYC.C

Farmers can easily complete the e-KYC process from the comfort of their homes. They can carry out the verification using face authentication via their mobile phones.
