Indian oil marketing companies determine these prices based on global crude oil rates. Today, the first of September, there has been no change in petrol and diesel prices, leaving customers disappointed.

There had been hopes of a price drop, but that did not materialise. If you plan to refuel your vehicle, you can check the city-wise rates per litre; doing so will clear up any uncertainty regarding the cost.

Check Petrol and Diesel Prices in Major Cities

In the national capital, New Delhi, the price of petrol has crossed the century mark, standing at ₹102.12 per litre, while diesel is selling above ₹95.20 per litre. In Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra, petrol is trending at ₹111.18 per litre, and diesel is priced at ₹97.83 per litre.

In Kolkata, West Bengal, petrol is priced at ₹113.47 per litre, and diesel is selling at ₹99.82 per litre. In Chennai, Tamil Nadu, petrol costs ₹107.77 per litre, while diesel is priced at ₹99.55 per litre. In Gurugram, petrol is ₹102.77 per litre, and diesel is ₹95.44 per litre.

In Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha, the price of petrol is recorded at ₹109.92 per litre, while diesel is priced at ₹100.92 per litre. In Chandigarh, petrol is priced at ₹98.10 per litre and diesel at ₹86.09 per litre. In Hyderabad, the capital of Telangana, petrol is priced at ₹115.69 per litre, while diesel stands at ₹103.82 per litre.

In Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, petrol is priced at ₹112.66 per litre, while diesel is priced at ₹97.78 per litre. In Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, petrol is priced at ₹102.05 per litre, while diesel is recorded at ₹95.55 per litre.
