Newborn babies will receive gold rings from September 15, a gift from Thalapathy Vijay’s government

The Tamil Nadu government has announced a remarkable gift for newborns. CM Vijay’s government has launched the “Thai Maman Gold Ring Scheme,” under which Vijay will gift a gold ring to the newly born child. This scheme is scheduled to launch on September 15th. The government has announced the launch of this scheme on September 15th, the birth anniversary of former Chief Minister C.N. Annadurai.

The order for 128,499 rings has been issued to Alukkas and Kalyan Jewellers in a 70:30 ratio. This scheme was announced by CM Vijay himself before the assembly elections in April. The government stated that the Tamil Nadu Medical Services Corporation issued a tender on July 14th following a government order to provide 441,667 gold rings weighing one gram each. Eleven companies participated and submitted their price details through the ‘TN Tenders’ portal.

It is reported that a total of 11 companies participated in the tender process and submitted their prices through Tamil Nadu’s official ‘TN Tenders’ portal.
