What Order Did PM Modi Give After The Pahalgam Attack? Ajit Doval Reveals Big Secret

New Delhi: The terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir, had shaken everyone to the core. Terrorists had killed people after specifically asking about their religion. Subsequently, the Indian Air Force launched ‘Operation Sindoor’ and dealt a crippling blow to the Pakistan-backed terrorists.

Nearly a year and a half later, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval has made significant revelations regarding Operation Sindoor. Speaking in the Discovery Channel documentary Declassified: Operation Sindoor, he disclosed the orders PM Modi issued concerning the Pahalgam attack, the specific instructions given regarding the attackers, and the very first question PM Modi asked upon learning of the incident.

The Order Given by PM Narendra Modi

National Security Advisor Ajit Doval has shed light on the strategy behind Operation Sindoor. He revealed that an 88-hour operation, Operation Sindoor, was conducted against the terrorists. Upon learning of the Pahalgam attack, PM Modi returned from Saudi Arabia and summoned Doval to the airport to receive a briefing.

Immediately upon meeting, the Prime Minister asked who had carried out the attack, who was responsible, and who the attackers were. After reviewing the report, he ordered that those responsible, ble wherever they might be, whether on land, in the sky, or even in hell, must be hunted down and eliminated; there was to be no forgiveness.

When Did the Pahalgam Attack Occur?

National Security Advisor Ajit Doval stated that on the morning of April 22, 2025, terrorists gunned down Indian tourists using AK-47s in the Baisaran Valley of Pahalgam. Twenty-six innocent people lost their lives, including a foreign national and a local guide. It was a brutal attack against humanity.

This harrowing incident shook the entire nation. Witnessing the aftermath in Baisaran Valley ignited a fire of vengeance across the country; the families of the victims wanted to see the bodies of the attackers. PM Narendra Modi cut short his visit to Saudi Arabia to return to India and convened a high-level meeting right at the airport.

Nine terrorist hideouts were also destroyed.

The National Security Advisor stated that PM Modi’s stance regarding the terrorists was absolutely clear: they had to be eliminated. ‘The Resistance Front,’ a Pakistan-based terrorist organisation, had claimed responsibility for the terror attack. The attack had left many women widowed and caused immense grief to families who lost their daughters. Therefore, the military action taken to avenge this was named ‘Operation Sindoor.’ The Army, Air Force, and Navy were put on high alert.

Based on gathered intelligence, nine major terrorist camps were identified; five were located in PoK, while four were inside Pakistan. On the morning of May 7, the Indian Air Force destroyed all nine hideouts through aerial bombardment. The operation lasted for a total of 88 hours, inflicting significant losses on Pakistan.
