The Meteorological Department has indicated that the next 48 hours are critical. Heavy rain alerts have been issued for the capital, Patna, as well as Siwan, Saran, Bhojpur, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, and Darbhanga. Warnings for heavy rainfall have also been issued for Madhubani, Purnia, Katihar, Kishanganj, Begusarai, Khagaria, Bhagalpur, Munger, and Saharsa. Strong winds and lightning strikes are expected in several locations.
Rain Expected in Rajasthan
The IMD has issued an alert indicating that the monsoon will remain active in Rajasthan for the next five days. Moderate to heavy rainfall is likely across areas in the Ajmer, Kota, Udaipur, and Jodhpur divisions. Light to moderate rainfall is expected in several parts of the Bharatpur and Bikaner divisions.
Thunderstorms and Rain in Madhya Pradesh
The Meteorological Department has issued a heavy rainfall warning for the eastern and western parts of Madhya Pradesh over the next 48 hours. Warnings have been issued for areas bordering Vidarbha, as well as districts adjacent to eastern Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. Heavy rain accompanied by storms, lightning, and strong winds is predicted across various regions. Residents are advised to stay away from electricity poles.

The IMD has predicted heavy rainfall in several parts of Gujarat. Flood-like conditions prevail across Navsari, Tapi, Valsad, and various other parts of South Gujarat due to continuous rainfall. The administration has issued an alert advising residents of villages situated along riverbanks to remain vigilant.
The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rainfall in South and Central Gujarat over the next 24 to 48 hours. Winds gusting up to 60 km/h, accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning, are expected in the region.
