Delhi’s weather is going to worsen.

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather in Delhi is going to deteriorate after two days. According to IMD, the maximum temperature in the capital is expected to reach 39 degrees Celsius on Friday. IMD has said that a big change may be seen in the weather of Delhi from July 18. On this day, rain with thunder can be expected. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has also issued a warning of heavy rain and storms on July 19.

How will the weather be in these parts?

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is expected to remain dry in many states, including Punjab and Haryana. During this period, there is a possibility of seeing drizzle at only a few places. A well-marked low-pressure area is expected to form completely over the Bay of West Bengal. Due to its impact, heavy to very heavy rains have been predicted in Eastern and North-Eastern India. A warning has been issued of extremely heavy rain at isolated places in Odisha today. At the same time, lakhs of devotees have gathered in large numbers in Puri to participate in the annual Rath Yatra.

Warning of heavy rain in many states

According to IMD, the weather pattern is expected to deteriorate in the western Himalayan areas and Uttar Pradesh. Heavy rains are expected to increase rapidly in these areas in the next week. According to IMD, there may be moderate to heavy rain in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir today and tomorrow. An alert of severe rain has been issued in these states between 18th and 22nd July.

A red alert of heavy rain has also been issued in Uttarakhand from today till July 22. IMD has warned that there may be heavy rain with lightning and thunder in Jammu and Kashmir. Here, the wind speed is expected to easily reach 50 to 60 kilometres per hour. There may be heavy rain at many places in Himachal Pradesh between July 19 and 22.
