New Delhi: It is truly heart-wrenching when an innocent child suddenly goes missing from home, only for her body to be found later. Every parent raises their child with immense love and affection. A shocking incident has come to light from a village in Greater Noida; the murder of a six-year-old girl in Haldoni village has caused a sensation. The girl had suddenly gone missing from her home on the night of August 28.
Her family informed the police, leading to the registration of a case under relevant sections at the Ecotech-3 police station. This tragic incident has created an atmosphere of panic in the entire area. Recognising the gravity of the situation, the local police formed five teams to search for the girl.

Accused Identified via Footage
Following the girl’s disappearance, the police swung into action and constituted five teams for the search operation. These teams conducted intensive searches in the surrounding areas and gathered clues through various means, including CCTV footage. During the investigation, the police obtained CCTV footage showing a suspect carrying a sack.
Based on the footage and other evidence, the police identified the accused. During the search operation, the police, with the help of locals, recovered the girl’s body. After taking the body into custody and completing the inquest formalities, it was sent to the mortuary for a post-mortem examination. The accused has also been taken into custody, and interrogation is currently underway.
Post-mortem Conducted with Videography
According to the Greater Noida Police, the post-mortem examination of the girl’s body is being conducted by a panel of doctors. The entire procedure is being videographed. The post-mortem report is expected to clarify the actual cause of death and reveal any injuries or other physical evidence.
Police officials, accompanied by a Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team, inspected the crime scene and collected evidence. Meanwhile, the police are working to uncover the motive behind the murder and get to the bottom of the entire incident. The investigation encompasses all possible angles, including rape.

What the Central Noida DCP said
Regarding the case of the girl’s murder, Central Noida DCP Shailendra Singh stated that on the night of August 28, a man arrived at the police station with a written complaint reporting his minor daughter missing. A case was registered immediately upon receiving the information, and five police teams were deployed to locate the girl.
According to the DCP, a continuous search operation was launched using CCTV footage and other means. During this process, police teams, with the assistance of the public, searched for the girl and recovered her body from a nearby area. The body has been sent for a post-mortem examination, and the necessary further legal proceedings in the case have been initiated.
