Renault India is preparing to launch the 2026 Renault Kwid facelift on July 3 2026, bringing a major update to its popular entry-level hatchback. As per the reports, the new Kwid is expected to feature a fresh design inspired by the global Dacia Spring EV, giving it a more modern and premium look. Inside, the cabin is also likely to receive several new technologies and feature upgrades for a better driving experience. With these changes, Renault aims to make the Kwid a stronger option in the affordable hatchback segment and compete more aggressively with entry-level models from Maruti Suzuki and Tata Motors.
Renault Kwid Facelift
The 2026 Renault Kwid facelift is set to receive several exterior updates that give it a more modern and premium appearance. The front end will feature new Y-shaped LED daytime running lights (DRLs), a redesigned grille, and a newly styled bumper for a bolder look. At the rear, Renault has continued the same design theme with Y-shaped tail lamps and a redesigned bumper, creating a more stylish finish. While the design has been refreshed, the Kwid will retain its compact dimensions and 184 mm ground clearance, making it practical for city driving and rough roads. Top-spec variants are also expected to come equipped with newly designed alloy wheels.

The hatchback is expected to continue with the same 1.0-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine that delivers around 68 hp, offering a reliable balance of performance and fuel efficiency for everyday driving. Renault is also likely to retain the existing transmission choices, including a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 5-speed AMT.
