New Delhi: If a family member is registered under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, they are set to receive a significant benefit. The central government will soon transfer the 24th instalment of ₹2,000 directly into beneficiaries’ accounts. More than 9 crore farmers are expected to benefit from this instalment.
The instalment amount could be credited to accounts before Diwali; specifically, the funds are likely to arrive in the first week of October. However, the government has not yet officially announced the release date, though such claims are circulating in media reports.

When might the 24th instalment arrive?
The Ministry of Agriculture has not yet issued an official update regarding the release of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana instalment. However, the upcoming instalment could be released in October. If we look at the precedent set by the 21st instalment, the funds could be released in November; the central government released the 21st instalment on November 19, 2025.
PM Modi released that amount during an event held in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Under the 21st instalment, ₹2,000 was transferred to the accounts of over 9 crore farmers across the country. Consequently, the instalment amount is expected to be released sometime in October or November. To ensure you receive the benefit, it is advisable to complete formalities like e-KYC, which will eliminate any potential issues or confusion.
Which farmers will not receive the instalment?
Farmers who have not completed their e-KYC will miss out on the benefits of the 24th instalment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Completing e-KYC is now mandatory to avail the scheme’s benefits. If you are a beneficiary, you can complete the e-KYC process from the comfort of your home.
Farmers can opt for OTP-based e-KYC. To do this, you need to either download the PM Kisan Yojana app or visit the official PM Kisan website. Next, go to the e-KYC section, enter your Aadhaar card number, and submit it after entering the OTP.
