What to do if the phone gets wet?
Switch off
If your smartphone gets wet, first of all turn off your smartphone, do not switch it on even by mistake because if water has entered inside your phone, then a short circuit may occur as soon as you switch it on and your phone may get damaged.
Remove the SIM card and battery
If your smartphone gets wet, then if your phone has a removable battery then remove it immediately and also remove the SIM card because if water has not reached there yet then it will be safe from that water. After this, try to dry your phone.
Clean it with a cotton cloth
If your smartphone gets wet, use a dry cotton cloth to dry it or wipe it thoroughly with a paper towel so that no water enters inside it. After this, keep it in a place for some time where it gets adequate air. This will dry the water.
Keep your smartphone in a box of rice
If your smartphone gets wet, you should keep it inside a box of rice, because rice absorbs the moisture of water in your phone. Let it remain in the box of rice for one to two days, after that take it out and turn it on, then it may start again.
Turn on the phone after it dries completely
If your smartphone gets wet and you have tried all the remedies and you feel that your phone has dried completely, then insert the SIM card in it and if there was a removable battery then insert it. After this, if it turns on then it is fine. If it does not turn on then you should take it to your nearest service center.
