Volkswagen ID Polo EV: Volkswagen, a leading German automobile manufacturer, has completed preparations to introduce its popular hatchback car, the Volkswagen ID Polo, in an electric avatar. It is expected to be launched very soon. This hatchback will be an electric version of the iconic Polo, capable of delivering a range of 451 kilometers on a single charge. It will be built on the modern MEB+ platform and feature several high-tech features.

Modern Design
The Volkswagen ID Polo EV retains its original design, but has been given a modern touch. It features a closed-off front grille and wrap-around headlamps with upward-mounted LED DRLs, along with a slatted bumper. It measures 4053 mm long, 1816 mm wide, and 1530 mm high, with a 2600 mm wheelbase. The car’s aerodynamics have been significantly improved with smart design elements. The rear door handles are hidden in the C-pillar, giving it a distinct look. The LED headlights, along with the VW logo in the center, make it a striking addition.
Interior Features

The Volkswagen ID Polo EV’s cabin has been provided with ample space and has been presented with utmost modernity, it has been provided with an instrument cluster and a large 13-inch touch screen infotainment system, apart from this, many physical buttons have also been provided in it which can be operated during riding, it has a boot space of 435 liters, which can be increased to 1243 liters by folding the rear seats, which means it is very suitable for long distance travel.
Battery and range

Volkswagen ID Polo EV is built on the MEB+ platform, it is offered with two different battery pack options – 38kwh and 56kwh. The 38kwh battery pack is for short journeys and city drives, while the 56kwh battery pack is for longer journeys, which gives a driving range of up to 451 km on a single charge. Apart from this, it also has 125kw DC fast charging support, with the help of which its battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in 20 minutes.
Pricing and Launch

The Volkswagen ID Polo EV is expected to be launched at an ex-showroom price of ₹2.6 million to ₹2.7 million. It will initially launch in the European market, followed by its arrival on Indian roads. It’s expected to launch sometime between May and June. This will be a fantastic electric car with a strong range, making it a much-awaited offering among car enthusiasts.
