According to the recent reports, Indian Railways has decided to run a new vande bharat express special train between uttar pradesh’s capital lucknow and chhapra in bihar. the rain will operate six days a week except on tuesdays. This ew service will make travel more easier and convenient for the passengers on this route. As per the details, Northern Railways has also issued an official notification regarding the train’s operation. According to the official notification, Train number 02270 will run from lucknow between march 27, 2025 and april 26, 2025. it will not operate on tuesdays and will complete a total of 27 trips during this period. similarly, train number 02269 will run from chhapra on the same dates, also making the 27 trips.
As these trips will begin from march 27, this special Vande Bharat Express will have the stoppages at sultanpur jnction, varanasi junction, ghazipur city and suraimanpur stations between lucknow and chhapra. the new service is expected to provide a faster and more comfortable travel option for passengers communting between uttar pradesh and bihar. the introduction of this train aims to improve the railway connectivity and reduce the travel time between the two cities.
