In a significant move aimed at empowering women and strengthening public transportation services, Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) has announced a major recruitment drive for 2025. As part of this initiative, the state government is set to recruit 3,200 female conductors across various districts. The recruitment process will be facilitated through employment fairs (Rojgar Mela) being organized up to July 25, 2025.

- Educational Qualification: Minimum 10+2 (Intermediate) pass from a recognized board.
- Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 and 40 years of age as on the date of application. Relaxation is applicable as per government norms for reserved categories.
- Driving/Conductor License: Though a conductor license is preferred, training will be provided for selected candidates without one.
- Medical Fitness: Candidates should be physically fit and meet the medical standards required for the job.
Selection Process
The selection of candidates is being conducted through direct interviews and document verification at the respective employment fairs. There is no written exam involved, making the process more accessible and transparent for applicants. Selected candidates will receive appointment letters on the same day or shortly thereafter.
Salary and Benefits
Female conductors recruited under this drive will receive a competitive monthly salary as per the contractual norms of UPSRTC. In addition to salary, they will be entitled to various benefits such as travel allowance, insurance coverage, and uniforms. Some districts may also offer incentives for women who work on long-distance routes.

The recruitment is being carried out across major districts including Lucknow, Kanpur, Varanasi, Allahabad, Meerut, Agra, and Gorakhpur, among others. Job fairs are being held at designated employment offices or government ITIs in each district.
