UP Patrakar Pension Yojana, this scheme has been started by the Uttar Pradesh government under which pension has been announced for the journalists of Uttar Pradesh. In this, pension will be given to journalists aged 60 years or above so that they can live their life self-reliant even in old age.
What is UP Patrakar Pension Yojana?
In this pension scheme, pension will be given to journalists of 60 years or more. This scheme has been started by the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath. This scheme has been started by being inspired by the scheme of Uttarakhand in which pension will be given to journalists above 60 years of age. This scheme will be operated by the Uttar Pradesh Information and Public Relations Department. Its official website has not been released yet.
Objective of UP Patrakar Pension Yojana
The objective of this scheme is to provide financial assistance to senior journalists so that they can live their life with self-respect by becoming self-reliant even in old age and in future they do not have to be financially dependent on anyone else.
Eligibility for UP Patrakar Pension Yojana
For this scheme the applicant must be a resident of Uttar Pradesh, only journalists of Uttar Pradesh can apply for this scheme, to avail the benefits of this scheme the applicant must have a certificate of journalism, the benefit of this scheme will be given only to journalists of 60 years or above
