UP Mukhyamantri Gramodhyog Rojgar Yojana is a scheme of the Uttar Pradesh government in which educated unemployed youth are given loans up to Rs 10 lakh so that they can create new employment opportunities for themselves. The benefit of this scheme will be given to the youth of rural areas between 18 to 50 years.
What is UP Mukhyamantri Gramodhyog Rojgar Yojana?
This scheme is implemented by Uttar Pradesh Khadi and Village Industries Board, Small Industries Corporation and other government and non-government organizations. Its main objective is to provide employment opportunities to unemployed youth living in rural areas and to encourage them for new employment. In this, they are given a loan of Rs 10 lakh and subsidy is also given in it.
Benefits of the scheme
- UP Mukhyamantri Gramodhyog Rojgar Yojana will be given to the educated unemployed youth of Uttar Pradesh
- Under this scheme, a loan of up to Rs 10 lakh will be provided to unemployed youth
- In this scheme, the general category beneficiaries will be given loans at four percent interest rate
- Under this scheme, the reserved category beneficiaries will be given 0% interest rate discount and the general category beneficiaries will have to contribute 10% and the Scheduled Caste Scheduled Tribe, Women and Disabled and Minority and Ex-Servicemen will have to contribute 5% themselves
- By taking advantage of this scheme, rural and educated unemployed youth will become self-reliant and will be able to live their life well
- Through this scheme, the state will also develop economically, families will not have to go out anywhere for employment.
Eligibility
- Youth of Uttar Pradesh will be eligible for UP Mukhyamantri Gramodhyog Rojgar YojanaTraditional artisans will be eligible in this scheme.
- Candidates who have passed vocational education (10+2) with village industry subject will be eligible in this scheme
- Candidates registered in the employment district office will be eligible under this scheme.
- 50% youth from Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Backward Caste will be given benefit in this scheme.
- Only unemployed youth can apply to avail the benefits of the scheme.
- The age of the applicant should be between 18 to 50 years under this scheme.
- Young men and women who have received training under SGSY and the government will be given its benefits.
- Both men and women will be eligible to apply under this scheme.
