UP Free Tablet Smartphone Scheme : Uttar Pradesh government has started the Free Tablet Scheme with the aim of connecting students with digital education and technical skills, in which eligible students will be given free tablets. Under this scheme, tablets will be given to those students who are taking higher education or technical education. What is this scheme
UP Free Tablet Smartphone Scheme is a scheme of the Uttar Pradesh government, which was started by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, it has about 1 crore beneficiaries. Under this scheme, smartphones and tablets are given to those students who are pursuing higher education or technical education, a budget of 3000 crores has been kept by the state government for this scheme.

The objective of UP Free Tablet Smartphone Scheme is to encourage students towards digital education in Uttar Pradesh, so that they can acquire technical and higher education and find good employment opportunities for themselves and become self-reliant. For this, the government provides smartphones and tablets to the students.

The aim of UP Free Tablet Smartphone Scheme is to encourage the students of the state for technical education and higher education, in which the students of class 10th and 12th and the students studying in college will be encouraged by giving them free tablets and smartphones, in this, a target has been set to give free tablets and smartphones to more than 5 lakh students so that they can brighten their future by studying.
Eligibility
- Students of Madhya Pradesh can apply for UP Free Tablet Smartphone Scheme.
- Only students studying higher education or technical education can apply under this scheme.
- Those students will get the benefit of this scheme who have scored 75% marks in the main examination.
- Only one student from a family will be given the benefit under this scheme.
- Those students will get the benefit of this scheme whose family member is not in a government job.
- Those students will get the benefit of this scheme whose family member does not file any income tax return.
How to apply
- To apply for UP Free Tablet Smartphone Scheme, first of all go to its official website digishakti.up.gov.in.
- After going here, the home page will open in front of you where you click on the link of new registration.
- Now a new page will open in front of you where you login by entering your mobile number and OTP.
- Now enter all your required information and upload all your necessary documents in it.
- Re-check your form and submit it by clicking on the submit button.
- Now your application form will be checked by the concerned dispensation and if found eligible, you will be given a tablet and smartphone for free.
