Ultraviolette is an Indian vehicle manufacturing company that makes electric motorcycles and scooters. Recently Ultraviolet has launched its much talked about electric bike Ultraviolet Shockwave. It was launched on 5 March 2025, it has been introduced with very great features which will be available at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.75 lakh.

Ultraviolette Shockwave electric bike has been kept lightweight. This electric bike is suitable for both roads and off-roading. This bike has been introduced with a scooty and aggressive design, in which sharp lines and muscular fuel tank are being given, and sleek body panels are being given in it. The design of this bike is like an enduro bike, the LED lights given in it are also very special which makes it very attractive.

Ultraviolette Shockwave is a great electric bike, it is being given a 14.5 bhp electric motor, it gives a torque of 505 nm, along with this it is being given a 3.5 kwh battery pack which is capable of giving a range of up to 165 kilometers. It can go up to a top speed of 120 kmph and it catches the speed of 0 to 60 kmph in 2.9 seconds.

Many great and advanced features are being given in Ultraviolette Shockwave. It has features like 4-level traction control, smartphone connectivity and e-SIM connectivity, switchable ABS, 6-level regenerative braking, LTE-based e-SIM connectivity. You get it in Cosmic Black, Frost White color. It has 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels.

Brakes and suspension

The Ultraviolette Shockwave features 270mm disc brakes with dual-piston calipers at the front and 220mm disc brakes with single-piston calipers at the rear. It features 37mm telescopic front forks with 200mm travel and a mono-shock rear suspension with 180mm travel.

Price and Launch

The Ultraviolette Shockwave electric bike was launched on 5 March 2025 at a price of Rs 1.50 lakh ex-showroom for the first 1000 customers, after which it has been increased to the first 2000 customers. For subsequent customers, its price is 1.75 lakh ex-showroom. Its pre-booking has also started from 5 March 2025 and it will be delivered in 2026.
