To cultivate turmeric, follow these steps:-
1.A suitable climate and soil are essential for turmeric cultivation. A warm and humid climate is considered most suitable, with well-drained loamy soil. You should cultivate turmeric in an area free of waterlogging to ensure your crop is protected.
2.For Turmeric Farming, you should select good seeds. Choose disease-free, healthy bulbs, as this is best for turmeric cultivation. Afterward, spray insecticide on the planting site to prevent soil-borne diseases from damaging the bulbs.
3.It’s also important to consider the appropriate time for sowing turmeric. The months from April to June are considered ideal. Once the turmeric is sown, the fields are covered with paddy straw to protect it from weeds.

5.When 50 to 60 days have passed since planting, you should add soil to it, so that the turmeric bulbs grow larger and the crop is good. The turmeric crop is ready in about 7 to 9 months. When its leaves dry and turn yellow, it is ready for digging.
