In an Intervew, congress MP shashi tharoor said, NO, i would not say that there is no way back. i believe that the long term interests of boththe countries will ultimately bring it back on an equal footing. this is certainly a significant short-term setback. it is causing some damage,including job losses in india. undoubtedly this is bad news for India this year, but we need to look at the bigger picture. tharoor added that he is confident that cooperation between india and the united states will continue across the various sectors. he also noted that both new delhi and washington are working at different levels of government, and this collaboration does not appear to be slowing down from either side.

The congress leader further stated, is the united states or trump trying to completely undermine india? at present, there is no reason to think so, there is extensive cooperation in defense, intelligence sharing space, IT, AI and many other areas, at levels ranging from top government leaders to lower administrative levels.
