Toyota is making headlines again with its internationally acclaimed SUV, the Toyota RAV4, now rumored to be heading for an official launch in India. With global recognition for performance, comfort, and efficiency, the RAV4 has caught the attention of Indian auto enthusiasts thanks to its stunning fuel efficiency of up to 39 kmpl a figure rarely seen in the SUV segment.
A Hybrid Game-Changer

If imported as a CBU, the Toyota RAV4 price in India could range between ₹55 lakh to ₹60 lakh (ex-showroom).
However, if Toyota decides to localize production or bring it in via the CKD (Completely Knocked Down) route later, the price could drop significantly, making it more competitive against premium SUVs like the Hyundai Tucson, Jeep Compass, and Citroën C5 Aircross.
