Tata Sumo 2025: Tata is expected to introduce its legendary SUV, the Tata Sumo 2025, in the Indian auto market very soon. The Tata Sumo has been off the road for quite some time, but now it’s expected that the Tata Sumo will be launched very soon. It’s a 7-seater SUV that will be positioned as a full-size, muscular SUV. It will feature a modern design, advanced interior features, and a safety system, along with a host of impressive features.
It’s expected to deliver a mileage of 45 kmpl and feature a 10- to 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 360-degree parking camera. It’s expected to be available with petrol and diesel engines, as well as an electric variant. It’s expected to feature a powerful engine equipped with Tata’s Hypertron technology.
Exterior design

The Tata Sumo 2025 will be launched as a muscular SUV, featuring C-shaped DRLs at the front, connected headlights, and a new chrome grille. Tata’s new 2D logo, which is striking, will also feature a muscular dual-tone bumper. The side profile features black cladding and 17- to 18-inch alloy wheels. Tata Sumo 2025 has many great interior features which make it special. It has 7 to 8 seat options, premium leather seats have been used in it, while many facilities have been provided for entertainment as well. It has facilities like multi power steering wheel, automatic seat reminder and climate control, while a panoramic sunroof is also going to be available in it. It will also have a 10 to 12 inch touch screen infotainment system, in which more than 15 i Connect features will be provided.
Safety features

Tata Sumo 2025 comes with a host of safety features including air bags, ABS and EBD features, push button start stop, keyless entry, 360 degree parking camera, Advanced Driver Assistant System (ADAS). It is expected to be launched with a 5-star safety rating.
Engine
The Tata Sumo 2025 could feature a powerful engine. Tata is expected to launch this SUV with a 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine, which produces 170 hp and 350 Nm of torque. This engine is also used in the Tata Safari and Tata Harrier. This engine will also provide the Tata Sumo with the power to navigate rough terrain, enabling it to deliver good performance. It could be offered with both a manual and an automatic transmission.
Price and Launch
The Tata Sumo 2025’s price hasn’t been officially announced yet, but it’s expected to be priced between ₹10 lakh and ₹14 lakh. Once launched, it will rival the Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus, Bolero, and several other mid-size SUVs. It’s expected to launch by the end of 2025.
