Tata Sierra: Tata Motors has launched its much-anticipated new-generation SUV, the Tata Sierra, priced at ₹11.49 lakh (approximately $1.49 million). Bookings will begin on December 16, 2025, and deliveries will begin on January 15, 2026. This SUV is available in seven variants, three powertrains, and an AWD option. You can book it for an amount ranging from ₹11,000 to ₹51,000 (approximately $5.9 million). It will be available in six color schemes. Let’s explore its features and specifications.
Engine
Three engine options are being offered in Tata Sierra –
1.5 litre Naturally Spirited Petrol – This engine is capable of producing 108 ps of power and 145 nm of torque. 6 speed manual and 7 speed dual clutch automatic transmission options are also being offered in it.
1.5 litre Turbo Petrol Engine – This is capable of producing 160 ps of power and 255 nm of torque. It has a 6 speed torque converter automatic transmission, it is for sporty performance and fast pickup.
1.5 litre Diesel Engine – This engine produces 118 hp of power and 280 nm of torque.
Exterior Design
This Tata Sierra model features a strong, boxy, and modern design, packed with premium features. Its exterior design is striking, with wide LED lighting elements, LED DRLs, and tail lamps giving it a striking look. It also features flush door handles and 17- to 19-inch alloy wheels, which are also visually appealing. The panoramic sunroof makes the cabin feel spacious and airy. It also features a shark fin antenna and roof rails.
Interior Design
The interior of Tata Sierra is very attractive in which a triple screen setup is being given, in this a large part of the dashboard is covered with three screens in which one is for the driver, one for infotainment and one for the passenger, while dual tone leather seats and soft touch material have been used in it, apart from this, a 12 speaker JBL sound system with sound bar has also been given in its top variant. 360 degree camera has been given in it for parking assistance and you also get facilities like power and ventilated front seats and dual zone climate control rear AC vent in it.
