Tata Motors is set to launch the all-new Tata Sierra EV on June 30. Designed for buyers looking for a stylish electric SUV with strong performance and a long driving range, the Sierra EV could become a major player in the midsize EV segment. The SUV is expected to feature a bold design, a high-tech cabin, a powerful battery pack, fast-charging technology, and a driving range of up to 500 km. With an estimated starting ex-showroom price of Rs.15–16 lakh, the Tata Sierra EV is likely to compete with rivals such as the Hyundai Creta EV and VinFast VF7.
Tata Sierra EV Design and versions
The Tata Sierra EV will share much of its design with the petrol and diesel versions, but it will feature several EV-specific updates. At the front, a body-colored closed grille and Tata’s signature connected LED light strip give the SUV a modern and futuristic appearance. The side profile looks bold with muscular body cladding, flush door handles, and newly designed aerodynamic alloy wheels. At the rear, the SUV gets a roof-mounted spoiler with a hidden wiper underneath, along with a full-width LED light bar. These styling elements help the Sierra EV stand out and give it a premium road presence.
Modern Features and Advanced Technology
The Tata Sierra EV is expected to offer a modern and feature-rich cabin packed with advanced technology. It may come with a large 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. Higher variants could also feature a premium triple-screen setup for an enhanced driving experience. Other expected features include a 12-speaker JBL sound system with Dolby Atmos support, ventilated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a panoramic sunroof. Tata Motors is known for offering a wide range of safety, comfort, and convenience features in its vehicles, and the upcoming Sierra EV is expected to continue that trend.
