Tata Sierra EV: Tata Motors may soon launch its electric SUV, the Tata Sierra EV, with advanced features and an attractive design. According to reports, it may be launched in the first half of 2026. Earlier, Tata Motors launched the diesel and petrol models of the Sierra on November 25, after which it is now preparing to launch its EV model very soon. This will be a premium SUV based on Tata’s Gen 2 platform. It will offer a range of 500 to 600 kilometers on a single charge, and will also be equipped with more than 6 airbags and advanced Level 2 ADAS.
Launch and Availability
Tata Sierra EV is expected to launch sometime before or after March 2026. The production model of this EV was showcased at the India Mobility Expo 2026 and will be manufactured at Tata Motors’ Sanand plant. This EV is a unique blend of premium and modernity, positioning it to rival SUVs like the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos upon launch. You can book it at Tata Motors dealerships once it launches.
Battery and Range
Tata Sierra EV can be provided with a larger battery pack of 55 kWh and 65 kWh, which can give a range of 500 to 600 kilometers on a single charge, and it can also be fast charged.

Tata Sierra EV is being provided with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and touch screen infotainment system. Apart from this, wireless Apple Car Play and Android Auto connectivity is also being provided in it. It has features like Heads on Display, 12 speaker JBL sound system and sound bar, wireless phone charging pen and dual zone climate control and air purifier, drive modes, cruise control, power and ventilator front seat.
