New Delhi: The central government has once again brought great cheer to farmers ahead of Diwali. The 24th instalment of Rs 2,000 under the ‘PM Kisan Samman Nidhi’ scheme has been released, with funds transferred to the accounts of approximately 9.34 crore farmers. This has brought much joy to the farming community. Prime Minister Narendra Modi initiated the transfer of Rs 2,000 each to the accounts of farmers from Bhildi in the Banaskantha district of Gujarat. A total amount of Rs 18,186.80 crore has been disbursed to the accounts of 9.34 crore farmers.
Notifications regarding the credit of the instalment have been sent to the mobile numbers linked to their bank accounts. If, for any reason, you have not received a notification, there is no need to worry; you can easily verify the receipt of the funds by visiting your bank.
A Diwali gift for farmers
The release of the 24th instalment of the ‘PM Kisan Samman Nidhi’ scheme ahead of Diwali has brought great enthusiasm among farmers, who view it as a special gift. It is worth noting that the names of over 10 lakh farmers were removed from the beneficiary list this time, as they did not meet the eligibility criteria.
How to check your status?
You can check the status of your 24th instalment under the PM Kisan scheme by visiting the official portal via your computer or mobile device.
To check your status, visit the portal at pmkisan.gov.in.
Next, click on the ‘Know Your Status’ option.
Enter your registration number and the captcha code.
An OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to your registered mobile number; enter it to proceed.
Once done, the complete details regarding your status under the PM Kisan scheme will be displayed.
Check Your Name in the Beneficiary List
To do this, you must first visit the scheme’s portal at pmkisan.gov.in.
Next, click on ‘Beneficiary List ‘.
Following this, you will need to select your state, district, sub-district, block, and village.
A list for the entire village will then appear, in which you can check for your name.
What if you haven’t received a message on your mobile?
For your information, the 24th instalment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana has been released. If you have not received a message on your mobile, you can still easily check your balance. You can verify whether the funds have been credited by visiting a nearby ATM or bank branch. Alternatively, you can also use mobile banking to check if the money has been deposited into your account.
