These instructions were given under the chairmanship of Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena and Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, according to which now women will be able to work in night shifts in all seasons.

Night shift will be given after the consent of the female employee

The Labor Department has been instructed to allow women employees to work in night shift after taking their consent, for this the Shops and Establishments Act has been amended and instructions have been given to ensure all kinds of safety measures by issuing a notification under the Factory Act.
Shops and establishments will also be opened 24 hours
after the new rule in Delhi Government, now shops and establishments will also be opened 24 hours, for this changes will be made in the Act and the safety of women employees will be ensured by issuing necessary information under the Factory Act. And the government rules related to night duty of those women who will go on night duty will also be changed. Now after this rule, shops and establishments will be able to remain open 24 hours, which can be opened for the whole day or the whole week if desired.
Instructions to limit the minimum number of employees to 10
Under the new rules in Delhi, the Labor Department has issued a notification according to which shops which will remain open for 24 hours under the Shops and Establishments Act will now have to employ 10 employees instead of one. That is, if a shop which remains open for 24 hours has 10 employees, only then will the shop be allowed to remain open for 24 hours.
