BCCI forced to play domestic matches
Ranji Trophy 2025 match is going to be held against Saurashtra from 23 January in which many star batsmen will be seen playing matches on the field. BCCI has made it mandatory for all players to play domestic cricket, BCCI has said that if the players do not have any fitness related problems then they will have to play domestic cricket, due to this, legendary batsmen like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will be seen playing domestic matches.
These star cricketers including Kohli will take the field
in Ranji Trophy 2025 many stalwarts including Virat Kohli are going to take the field in which many senior players including captain Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Ravindra Jadeja will be seen in the game.
Captain Rohit Sharma had announced to play domestic cricket at the time of announcement of the Champion Trophy team and said that he too will play in this domestic match and will be available for the domestic match.
Rohit Sharma will play in Mumbai’s match against Jammu and Kashmir, whereas Virat Kohli played his last Ranji match against Uttar Pradesh in Ghaziabad, apart from this Shubman Gill will play for Punjab and Rohit Sharma, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shreyas Iyer will play for Mumbai.
