On Friday, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh unveiled a statue of the great warrior and ruler of mewar, Maharana Pratap, in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra. He said Maharana Pratap is a true hero of the history who gave up everything to protect the honour, pride and self-respect of his motherland. Rajnath Singh added that the statue is not just made on stone or metal, but it is a symbol of inspiration for all of us. it stands as a tribute to courage, bravery and patriotism, especially for the coming generations. during his speech, he also spoke about aurangzeb, saying that some of the people are trying to present aurangzeb as a hero. however, he made it clear that real heroes are leaders like Maharana Pratap and Chhatrapati Shivaji, who fought for the country and its values. this statue he said, will remind everyone of the sacrifices made for india’s dignity and freedom.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, While speaking in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, said that whenever a country’s freedom and culture are in danger, great leaders take birth to protect it. he said the lives of brave warriors Maharanapratap, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj are proof of this. Maharana Pratap Didn’t fight for himself-he could have accepted akhbar’s rule and lived a comfortable life, but accepting slavery was not his nature. instead, he challenged the powerful mughal empire.

He also said, that Maharana Pratap’s army was not limited to rajputs alone. wealthy people like bhamashah supported him, and tribal and mountain communities also stood firmly by his side. their descendents can still be found in Rajasthan, gujrat, maharashtra, karnatka and other states. where his army doesn’t only includes the rajputs but also tribal people, farmers and even muslims too. Rajnath singh also talked about hakim khan sur, where he added that one cannot forget the ravery of hakim khan sur who sacrificed his life in the battle of haldighati.
