Punjab firecracker factory explosion, a big accident has happened in a firecracker factory in Punjab where four workers died and 27 people were injured due to explosion in the firecracker factory, this firecracker factory is located in the fields of village Singhewala-Fatuhiwala near Lambi constituency of Muktsar where this accident happened late at night.
More than 27 workers have been injured in this accident, after which the police administration reached the spot and the injured were immediately taken to AIIMS hospital for treatment. This incident happened around 12:00 in the night. This explosion happened in the firecracker manufacturing and packaging unit.
Police gave Information
In the Punjab firecracker factory explosion, the police has given information about this case, in which Lambi Superintendent of Police Jaspal Singh informed that this accident took place in a two-storey factory unit located on Singhawali Kotli Road in Sri Mukteshwar Sahib, in which four people were killed and 27 people were injured. The injured have been taken to the hospital and the cause of the explosion is being investigated.
There were 40 workers working in the firecracker factory
4 workers were killed in the Punjab firecracker factory explosion. Around 40 workers worked in this firecracker factory who used to work in two shifts. Most of the workers were from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar who lived here with their families. This accident took place in the packing unit of the factory. At the time of the accident, the factory workers were sleeping outside when suddenly there was a loud sound of explosion which could be heard several kilometers away and the two-storey building collapsed completely. The workers working there got injured and some people died after being crushed.
The sound was heard from many kilometers away
The sound of the Punjab firecracker factory explosion was heard from many kilometers away, the firecrackers were kept in many boxes in this factory which was the packing unit of the firecracker factory, the sound of this explosion was so loud that people heard it from a long distance. The firecracker factory in Punjab where this accident happened belongs to Tarsem Singh of Singhewala-Fatuhiwala.
Rescue and relief work continues
After receiving the news of Punjab firecracker factory explosion, many senior police officers reached the spot to inspect it, including SSP Dr. Akhil Chaudhary and DSP Jaspal Singh. After this, the debris was removed with the help of hydro machine and rescue and relief work continued and the bodies buried under the debris were taken out and the injured people were taken to the hospital. The police has assured that the matter will be thoroughly investigated and if any conspiracy is suspected, appropriate action will be taken against the culprits.
