Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge strongly Condemned the attack attempt on chief Justice of India, Justice B.R. Gavai, calling it “Shameful and disgraceful.” In his statement, Kharge said that the incident is not only an attack on the dignity of the judiciary but also on the rule of law. he emphasized that targeting a person who rose to the highest judicial position through merit, honesty and determination is deeply disturbing. Kharge added that the act reflects an attempt to intimidate and insult someone who has upheld the constitution by breaking social barriers. he further stated that such incidents expose how hatred and intolerance have gripped Indian society over the past decade. On behalf of the congress party, Kharge demanded stronger protection for the judiciary, stressing that justice and reason must prevail over fear and intimidation.
