He expressed his views on several issues in his address to the nation and thanked the country’s army, intelligence agency and scientists. In his address, he said that the whole world has seen the result of the terrorist attack on India.
This was first PM Modi speech where PM Modi address to the nation after Operation Sindoor in which he said that the terrorists have seen the result of removing vermilion from the forehead of our sisters and daughters. PM Modi said in his speech that Operation Sindoor is not just a name but a reflection of the feelings of millions of people of the country. Operation Sindoor is the unbroken pledge of the court. The whole world has seen this pledge turning into a result on the late night of 6 May and the morning of 7 May.

In PM Modi speech PM Modi said that if there is any discussion with Pakistan now, it will be only on terrorism and PoK, he said to all the countrymen – today is Buddha Purnima and Lord Buddha has shown us the path of peace and the path of peace goes through power, humanity should move towards peace and prosperity and Indians should be able to live in peace and fulfil the dream of a developed India. He said that for this it is very important for India to be powerful and it is also very important to use this power when required and India has been doing this for the last few days.
Water and blood cannot flow together
In PM Modi speech PM Modi said that everyone’s unity against terrorism is the biggest strength of our unity and this is not the era of war but it is not the era of terrorism either. The way Pakistani army is nourishing terrorism, it will destroy Pakistan one day. Therefore, if Pakistan wants to save itself from this, then it will have to eliminate the terror infrastructure, apart from this there is no other way to peace, terror and talk cannot happen together and terror and trade cannot go together. He pointed towards the suspension of Indus Water Treaty and said that water and blood cannot flow together.
A new line drawn against terrorism
In PM Modi speech PM Modi said that we have drawn a new line against terrorism with Operation Sindoor and have set a new standard, a befitting reply will be given to the terrorist attack in India and we will respond in our own way and on our own terms and will take stern action and destroy the roots of terrorism, secondly India will not tolerate any nuclear blackmail and thirdly we will not look at the government that patronizes terrorism and those who provide shelter to terrorists differently, all the three forces of India, Air Force, Army, Army and Navy, Border Security Force and the paramilitary forces of India are on alert.
