PM Gati Shakti Yojana
PM Gati Shakti Yojana: This scheme was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 15 August 2021 on the occasion of 75th Republic Day. This scheme has been started with the aim of giving better momentum to the country’s economy, for which the government has come up with a master plan in which a budget of Rs 100 lakh crore has been kept.
This scheme is being started with the aim of strengthening the country’s infrastructure and improving logistics, in which by creating coordination between 16 ministries of the central government, all the ministries have to be brought on a digital platform so that the country’s economy improves and people also get employment opportunities from this.
What is PM Gati Shakti Yojana?
This scheme has been started by PM Narendra Modi in 2021 in which a national master plan of multi-level connectivity of Rs 100 lakh crore has been made so that the infrastructure of our country can be strengthened and logistics can be improved, for this coordination will be established between 16 ministries of the country so that projects of various ministries including road, rail, airport, oil and gas can be brought on a single digital platform.
This will reduce the cost of logistics and due to online process, paperwork will be reduced and the time taken for approval of these projects will be reduced and all the work will start soon, apart from this, the youth of the country will also get employment.
Objective of PM Gati Shakti Yojana
The main objective of this scheme is to strengthen the country’s infrastructure and improve logistics, various ministries including railways, roads, airports, waterways and state government infrastructure schemes will be included under this scheme, this will improve the country’s infrastructure and with all ministries coming together digitally, the time taken for approval of schemes will also be reduced and people will also get employment opportunities.
