PM Garib Kalyan Yojana
PM Garib Kalyan Yojana is a scheme for the poor which is run by the central government. Poor people get the benefit of this. Those who do not have food to eat are given free food by the government so that they can feed themselves and their families properly.
This scheme was started during the time of Covid-19 in which people were given free food to give relief from the epidemic, after which it was decided to take it further. Under this scheme, more than 80 crore people are given free food grains. Under this, the government gives 5 kg of free wheat or rice and one kg of free whole gram to those people who are able to get food with great difficulty so that such families who sleep hungry do not have to stay hungry now.
Who can take benefit of this scheme
- To take advantage of PM Garib Kalyan Yojana, the applicant must be a native of India.
- The applicant should not have any land of his own.
- To take advantage of this scheme, the applicant should not have his own pucca house.
- Under this scheme, potters, blacksmiths, weavers, cobbler, marginal farmers all get the benefit of this scheme.
- Applicants for this scheme must have BPL ration card or Antyodaya card.

To avail the benefits of PM Garib Kalyan Yojana, applicants must have their Aadhar card, mobile, ration card and BPL card.
How much grain is given for free
Applicants applying in PM Garib Kalyan Yojana are given 5 kg ration for free, in which 5 kg rice or wheat and 1 kg whole gram is given for free. So far, the benefit of this scheme has been given to more than 80 crore people, while people who have Antyodaya card get double the benefit in this scheme. The loss of health workers is also covered in this scheme. 50 lakh rupees are given to the family of health workers who died during duty due to Kovid-19.

After this, you can apply in it by opening its application form, filling all your personal information and your family information and uploading all your necessary documents like identity card, ration card, BPL card etc. and submitting the form.
To apply offline, you can go to your nearest ration card office and get its application form, after this, you can fill all the necessary information in this form and attach the photocopy of all your documents to it and you can apply for it by submitting this filled form in the concerned office.
